    6th & 7th grade students will be making their elective choice for the 2019-2020 school year next week, May 6-10 in computer class.  
      
    In addition to the four core courses (Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, Science)  all students at Braden Middle School will have Encore (a rotation of Art, Physical Education, Computer class, STEM, and World Cultures) and unlike this year, all students will have a scheduled study hall every day.
     
    The alternative choice to Band or Choir next year will be STARS, which stands for 'Students Taking Academic Responsibility Seriously.'  In this class, students will learn and practice a variety of academic strategies that will help them along the way in their core content classes.
